Kemble - Raymond

NEWTOWN, Ind. (CNS) – Services were at l p.m. Thursday at the Hippensteel Chapel in Lafayette for Raymond Kemble, 87, of Lafayette, who died Monday evening (Feb. 14, 1972) at Home Hospital in Lafayette. Burial was in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens at Lafayette. Mr. Kemble was born at Linden and married Nellie M. Flaugher, who survives. A member of the United Methodist Church at East Lynn, Ill, he was a custodian at various schools in Lafayette for 42 years. Other survivors include a son, Aaron “Shorty” of Newtown; four daughters, a sister of West Lafayette, 11 grandchildren and 21 great- grand-children. – jlr
