Kelso - Nancy Virginia

Nancy Virginia, daughter of Robert (Joseph Robert) and Daisy (Jarvis) Kelso, died Oct 8, aged 4 months 5 days. She was of delicate health from birth and little able to withstand any attack of disease. What a little spark of life, so feeble and so brief! And yet, it held our little one with us till she grew dearer and yet dearer to our hearts. How pleasant was the task of caring for her! How cheerfully we ministered to our little one who could not tell her needs. How anxiously we watched the little sufferer, thinking now we shall help her, and then, she cannot stay. Thus in our hope and despair we lived. Darling, you were a great comfort to us. We were in deepest grief over the death of your sister and you were our solace. Our hopes were in you. Now hope is crushed, save that hope which is the anchor of the soul - the hope of the Christian. You are going on alone, dear, but we will meet you at the crossing of the ways, and then we will not leave you. --typed by kbz
