T.P. Logan went to Liberty today to arrange for the funeral of John Kelso, an old soldier who died there this morning. Mr. Kelso formerly lived here. – kbz

Mr. Kelso of Liberty was over Monday to transact business with the Probate Court in reference to the estate of his father, John Kelso. He assures Judge Osborn that the heirs are united in that they want their mother to have the use and benefit of the whole estate so long as she lives and then it will be time enough for them to divide. That sounds good – no quarreling and forced sale to divide up the estate. – kbz
