Walter Samuel Kelsey, a resident of Michigan the past 3 years died at the home of his parents, Thomas and Margaret Kelsey, six miles NE of this city at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday morning after an illness of a week. Death was due to complications. Mr. Kelsey was born in Crawfordsville Nov 3, 1894, and married Nellie Hoffman of Michigan December 16, 1915. He had returned to the home of his parents a little more than a week ago. He is survived by his wife, six children, father, mother, a sister Dorothy Kelsey, four brothers Rev. Taylor B. Kelsey of Rising Sun, Emory E. Kelsey of Crawfordsvile, Stanley W. Kelsey of Kokomo and Roy M. Kelsey living at home. Funeral services will be conducted at two o'clock Friday afternoon from the United Brethren Church of which he was a member and interment will be at the Beckville Cemetery. - transcribed by kbz
