Mrs. Suzanna (sic) Kelsey dies at daughter's home near Lapland deceased succumbs to Complications at age of 77 funeral to be held Wednesday Special to the Journal Ladoga, April 30th Mrs. Suzanna Kesley died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Servies, of near Lapland at 6:30 o'clock Monday morning from complications of diseases. Mrs. Kelsey was 77 years of age and was a daughter of William and Amy White old time residents of this community. Mrs. Kelsey was married twice. Her first husband was Ambrose Johnson and her second husband was Frank Kelsey. They both preceded her in death several years ago. She is survived by 3 sons and one daughters, Mrs. John Servies. The sons are Fred, Harvey and William Johnson, all of Crawfordsville. Funeral services will be held from the home of her daughter Wednesday afternoon with the Rev. John Servies in charge.

Ladoga, May 4 -- On Wednesday morning at the home of Mr. & Mrs. John Servies near Lapland the funeral of Mrs. Susanna Kelsey was held. Rev. John Servies of Waynetown officiated. A quartet from the New Market church sang, "Will There Be Any Stars in My Crown," "Old Rugged Cross," and "Jesus Savior Pilot Me." The flower bearers were: Mamie Sandusky; Ruth, Ada and Anna Johnson. The pall bearers were: Harley, Foster, Oscar and Ivan Servies, Sherman Johnson and Paul and Dwight Kelsey. Bur. in Ladoga Cemetery. - transcribed by kbz
