Margie Ruth Kelsey, 73, a resident of Lane House Nursing Home died at 12:18 a.m. today in Culver Union Hospital. She was employed by a garment factory and at Allison's Transmissions at Indianapolis during WWII. She also cared for elderly people in their homes. Her memberships included Oak Hill Tabernacle and she attended Bainbridge schools. She was born May 14, 1920 at Groveland, Ind to Alfred and Leona Irene McIntyre McVay. On July 31, 1939 she married Mahlon Leroy Kelsey in Ohio. He preceded her in death Jan 22, 1969. Surviving are two sisters, Nellie Waldon of Crawfordsville and Velda Booty of Martinsville. Five sisters and three brother preceded her in death. Services are set for 2 p.m. Saturday in Oak Hill Tabernacle with Rev. Robert L. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah Cemetery. Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Friday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home.
