Kelsey - Jessie Keesee

Mrs. Jessie Wallace Kelsey, 70, of 511 S. Washington St., died at 7:35 p.m. Thursday in Culver Hospital, where she had been a patient three weeks. She was a native of this city, born Feb. 3, 1899 to Edwin Tyson and Lucy Ann Britton Keesee. She married Ivan L. Kelsey on Aug. 22, 1923. He survives. Mrs. Kelsey was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Surviving besides her husband are a daughter, Mrs. Willis Sheets of Crawfordsville; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A sister, Elsie Carman, is deceased. Funeral rites are at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Hunt and Son Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Carlile officiating and interment in Oak Hill Cemetery.
