Israel G Kelsey, a former citizen of this place, died near Wabash, on the 7th inst. His remains were brought here and buried in the Masonic cemetery, on Tuesday. For several years, the deceased had been suffering from scrofulous consumption, terminating in frequent hemorrhage of the lungs, which suddenly terminated his mortal existence.. This event was one that he had been for some time anticipating and yet with remarkable cheerfulness and resignation, he waited for his chance to come, having a well grounded and comforting hope of a better life. - thanks to Kim H
