Kellison - Carey

Carey KELLISON, 45 well known throughout the county died Sunday evening shortly before six o'clock of a complication of diseases from which he had suffered some weeks. Mr. Kellison was a son of the late Samuel D. Kellison one of the pioneers and prominent men of the county and was born on the Kellison farm 4 miles NE of the city. Here he lived to reach maturity. At the outbreak of the war with Spain, he enlisted for the service and remained until his command was mustered out. Mr. Kellison was married to Laura McClelland and to them were born 3 children: Ralph, Opal and Horace.. The widow and children survive. Beisdes there, two brothers, John of this city and Delbert of Cogar, Oklahoma survive. The deceased was a member of the 1st Presbytieran Church in this city and Moose and K of P. The funeral service will be ehld at the late home on Dunn Ave, Tuesday at 2 and will be in charge of Rev. France of the UB Church. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery
