STONE BLUFF – Kenneth R. Kelley, 50, of Rt. 4, Veedersburg, died at 3:25 a.m. Sunday in Community Hospital at Williamsport. He had been in failing health several years. Mr. Kelley was a carpenter for Harrison Steel Casting Co. at Attica. He was a member of First United Methodist Church at Stone Bluff and was a lifelong resident of the Stone Bluff area. He was born April 27, 1929, at Stone Bluff, a son of Leland and Mildred Hoagland Kelley. He attended school at Stone Bluff and Veedersburg. On Jan. 20, 1950, he was married to the former Beatrice Pickett, who survives. Also surviving are the mother, of Stone Bluff; two daughters, Mrs. Don (Patty) Butler of Attica and Mrs. Daniel (Pamela) McMahan of Rt. 2, Veedersburg; three brothers, Jerry, Richard and Robert Kelley, all of Rt. 4, Veedersburg; and a sister, Mrs. Paul (Janice) Murphy of Crawfordsville. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Stone Bluff United Methodist Church with the Rev. Wayne Hoover officiating. The body will lie in state in the church one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in Osborn Prairie Cemetery near Stone Bluff. Friends may call 5-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The family requests that memorials be made to the Fountain County Cancer Society. ---– jlr
