Ladoga- Vernice K. Keller, 73, retired farmer and former corn-husking champion died Thursday in Winona Hospital, Indianapolis. Mr. Kelle,r a Ladoga resident was a member and deacon of Haw Creek Church of Christ. He was born Nov 13, 1904 at Montezuma, a son of Manson and Nannie Rivers Keller. He was married Feb 11, 1932 to Donna M. Payne; she survives. Also surviving are a son, Leon of Rt 2, Ladoga; two daughters, Mrs. Lawrence (Daphne) Brewer of Crawfordsville; and Mrs. Warren (Eleanor) Brewer of Ladoga; two brothers, Harold of Ladoga and Glenn of Owensboro, Ky; four sisters, Mrs. Ruby Obenchain of Ladoga; Mrs. Vivian Fleury of California; Mrs. Mary Williams of Florida and Mrs. Helen Camplin of Arizona and 9 grandchildren. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Perkins Funeral Home here with brother Cletis Ellis officiating. Burial will be in Ladoga Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Saturday.
