Walter R. Keller, 85, of 1805 E. Wabash Ave., died Friday morning at the Carmen Nursing Home here. He had been a patient for two weeks. Born Sept. 6, 1882, in Indiana, Mr. Keller was the son of Daniel A. and Ann Nettie McMullan. He was reared and spent most of his life in the Crawfordsville area. He married Annabelle Lewis who preceded him in death. Mr. Keller was a carpenter most of his life. He was a member of the First Baptist Church here. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Lola Conner of New Ross and Mrs. Maude McCloud of Crawfordsville, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Sunday at the Powers Funeral Home in Crawfordsville. Rev. Milo Riggs will officiate. Burial will be in the Mace K of P Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 pm Saturday. - transcribed by kbz
