Orville Edwin Keller, 67, of 609 Whitlock Ave., died at 5:55 p.m. Monday at his home. He had worked at the Mid-States Steel & Wire Co. for the past 23 years and was a 32nd degree Mason in the Crawfordsville bodies. Mr. Keller was a member of the New Liberty Christian Church at Veedersburg and attended school at Yeddo. He was born Jan 25, 1898, in Yeddo to Benjamin and Mae Krout Keller. Survivors include his wife Nellie; a son, Paul of Mooresville; two daughters, Mrs. Maxine Johnson of Eureka, Calif., and Mrs. Joan Zeigler of Crawfordsville; five grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Pearl Adair of Hillsboro, Mrs. Fay Mitchell of Veedersburg, Mrs. Mildred Linn of Danville, Ill., and Mrs. Wandeline Deck of Crawfordsville; two brothers, Max of Albuquerque, N.M. and Arista of Hillsboro; a nephew, Herschel of Crawfordsville; two nieces, Pauline Koekenberg of Tucson, Ariz., and Beatrice Deck of Crawfordsville, and other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Hunt & Son Funeral Home. Rev. Bennett Fulp will officiate. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Tuesday. Masonic services will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. - transcribed by kbz

Funeral services for Orville Edwin Keller were held Thursday afternoon in the Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Bennett Fulp officiating. Burial was in Masonic Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers and assisting with the floral tributes were Phillip Orcutt, Alva Grimes, Clyde Shelton, Chester Caldwell, Robert Surber and Norris Roudebush. "In the Garden" and "Beyond the Sunset" were sung by Rachael Houchins, accompanied on the organ by Geneva Middleton. Masonic services were held Wednesday evening at the funeral home. - transcribed by kbz
