John Manson Keller, son of Goerge and Deborah Keller was born Sept 18, 1861 in Jackson Township, Fountain County IN and died Thursday March 15, 1934 at the age of 72 years 6 months and 3 days of pneumonia at the home of his son, Herley Keller of Wingate. He was married to Virginia Wilkinson on Jan 14, 1882, who preceded him in death. He was a devoted farmer and most of his life was spent in the community of Wallace. He was a member of the Byron Christian Church. Surviving are six sons; Herley of Wingate; Guy and Daniel of Veedersburg; IIa of Byron; Frank of Marshall and Roscoe of Wallace; 26 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren, 3 brothers, a sister, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. - transcribed by kbz - please do not use without permission

Manson KELLER, one of our old residents, died at the home of his son, Hurley, south of Wingate at 4 on last Thursday evening of heart trouble. He was the son of Goerge and Deborah Keller and was 72 years 5 months and 27 days old. Funeral services at Phanuel Lutheran on Saturday afternoon were in charge of Rev. John Servies. Burial in Phanuel. His wife died in 1929. He is survived by six sons; Guy and Daniel of Veedersburg; Roscoe of Wallace; Ira of Byron; Frank of Marshall and Hurley of Wingate.
