Keller - Jessie Marie

Jessie Marie, the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Keller died at the home on East Howard Street Tuesday morning. Funeral services were held at Union Church on Wednesday afternoon in charge of Rev. Albert Tomlinson. Interment in Union Cemetery. "Jessie Marie, the infant daughter of Aaron and Ethel Keller was born March 4, 1914 and departed this life March 21, 1916, aged 2 years and 21 days. Then she stayed with us so short a time, she had plowed the furrow of love into the hearts of those who knew her. She was a sweet little flower of humanity and great is our regret to see her cut down so young; hardly had she started to grow and bloom until her Heavenly Father called her back home. But let it soothe the bereaved parents to know that their little one is not dead but only sleeping in the arms of her Lord and Savior. She was stricken March 13th with double pneumonia, and tho she was a very patient little sufferer and had every thing done that willing hands could do for her, she only survived 7 days. She leaves to mourn her departure her father, mother, two sisters, Roberta and Naomi, one grandmother, two ? (sorry rest is gone) -- kbz
