Covington, Ind.-Hurby L. Keller, 71, died about 9 am Saturday (Aug. 14, 1971) en route to Community Hospital in Williamsport. Mr. Keller had been ill for some time. Death was from natural causes. He had been a farmer. The body is at Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home where arrangements are incomplete.   -- typed by Barbara B

Covington, Ind.-Services for Hurby L. Keller, 71, of West Point, who died Saturday at the Community Hospital in Williamsport, will be at 2 pm Monday at the Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington, with the Rev. George Phillips officiating. Burial will be in the Coal Creek Cemetery south of Covington. Friends will be received after 2 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Born Feb. 2, 1900 in Cates, he was the son of Joseph and JoAnn Booe Keller. He married Fremie Groves, March 2, 1922, and she survives. A resident of West Point for the past four years, he was a retired farmer who spent most of his years in Covington. Survivors include four sons, Eugene of Veedersburg, Vernon of Kokomo, Raymond of Ringold, Ga., and Jerry of Monticello; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Betty) Sills of Lafayette, and Mrs. John (Bessie) Hinote of Fairmount, Ill., and one brother, John of Mendon, Mich. He was preceded in death by one daughter, four brothers, and one sister.
