Keller - George Washington

George Washington Keller died at an Evansville Hospital of complications Sunday afternoon following a two years' illness. The deceased was born southwest of this city April 2, 1878, the son of Dan and Nettie Keller. He was married to Julia Clodfelter in 1900. He was a general contractor in this city a number of years. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Opal Bannister and Mrs. William Armstrong both of this city; one son, Raymond Keller of Indianpolis; four brothers, Walter and Elmer, both of Crawfordsville; Willie of west of the city; and Dan of Hillsboro; four sisters, Mrs. Merit McCloud of west of the city; Mrs. Minnie Glaze of here; Mrs. Lola Swindler of New Ross and Mrs. John Selby of Crawfordsville. Funeral services will be held at the Proffit & Sons Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon at 2 in charge of Rev. BE Antrobus, with interment in Oak Hill Cemetery. -- kbz
