George Roscoe Keller, 75, of Rt. 1, Marshall, died at 10:41 a.m. Saturday at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville. he had been in failing helath one year and seriously ill 10 days. He was born July 17, 1889, near Wallace to Manson and Virginia Wilkinson Keller. He was married to Myrtle Fay Hallet at Wallace Dec 27, 1911. He attended schools in and near Wallace and was a carpenter the past 40 years. Survivors include his wife: five sons, Norman of Rt. 1, Tangier; Harold of Crawfordsville; Thomas of Marshall, Paul of Wallace and Bill of Redwood, calif; a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Ruth Carpenter of Rt 1, Bloomingdale; two brothers, Frank of Rt 2, Waynetown an Guy of RR Veedersburg; 12 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in dath by three brothers, Hurley, Ira and Dan. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Lutheran Church at Wallace. Rev. John R. Servies will officiate. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery at Wallace. The body will lie in state at the church one hour preceding the services.
