Veedersburg - Funeral services for Devit Aldridge Keller, 80, a retired farmer and employee at the InterState and Neal Gravel companies of Covington for 40 years, were held Tuesday afternoon at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home, Covington, Rev. J. Samuel Pritchard officiated. Burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery at Covington. The aged man died Saturday night at the home of a son, Ray Keller of Veedersburg. A life resident of Fountain County, he attended the old Snoddy Church. Mr. Keller was born Dec 26, 1880, near Cates; a son of Joseph and Joan Booe Keller. He married Grace Witsman November 2, 1902 and she preceded him in death November 9, 1936. Survivors include three sons, Ray of Veedersburg; Cyril of Plymouth, Indiana; and Denver of Benton Harbor, Mich; a daughter, Mrs. Virgie Purple of Covington; four brother, John of Mendon, Mich; Clint and Clyde of Yeddo, and Herbert of Mellott; a sister, Mrs. Florence Abernathy of Veedersburg; 13 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. - kbz
