Hillsboro -- Arista Keller, 82, Rt 1 Hillsboro died Tuesday evening in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville after an illness of several years. Mr. Keller was a retired Veedesrburg brickyard employee. He was a veteran of WWI, serving with the Army in France. He attended Yeddo School and was a member of Centennial United Brethern Church. A Fountain County native, he was born Nov 13, 1893, a son of Benjamin and May Krout Keller. He was married at Covington March 17, 1921 to Iva Cronk, who survives. Also surviving are 3 sisters, Mrs. Pearl Verhey of Hillsboro, Mrs. Wandeline Deck of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Roy Linn of Florida; three grandchildren, Mrs. Bob (Connie) Brinks of Frankfort and Mrs. Bob (Bev) Campbell and Mrs. Don (Patti) Williamson both of Crawfordsville and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a foster son, Wilmer "Pat" Keller; four brothers and four sisters. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Crumley-Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. Alfred Dobbs officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. Thursday.
