Kingman -- Funeral services for Mrs. Amy Keller, age 84, formerly of near Kingman, who died late Monday night, Sept 8 1969, at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Perry of Veedersburg Rt 1, were held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Woodrow Funeral Home here. Mrs. Keller was born in Fountain County on Aug 17 1885, the daughter of William and Thena Way Ross. She married Cluster Keller, who preceded her in death March 13 1867. She was a member of Coopers Chapel EUB Church. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Cleo VanNote and Mrs. Frances Davis of Veedersburg and Mrs. Perry; one son, Delmar of Veedersburg Rt. 2, 18 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, one half brother and one half sister. The Rev. Lucile Esbenshade officiated at the final rites and burial was in the Coopers Chapel Cemetery. ---waw

Source: The obituary is from a collection by Fauniel Hershberger, saved the 1950's, 60's and 70's. She was a life long resident of Fountain County Indiana.  The collection is now housed at Crawfordsville District Public Library.
