KEISER, (Kleiser) John Brome - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

Lt. John Brome KEISER, son of Rev. and Mrs. Victor Keiser, former pastor and wife of Waveland, Methodist Church was killed on the Rhine March 24, 1945 according to a newspaper clipping received by Mrs. Bert Perkins, which also described ceremonies held at Mitchell Field, NY at which Mrs. Kesier, his mother received a medal awarded posthumously. He was awarded the Air Medal and one Oak Leaf Cluster representing an additional medal. The order of the purple Heart had been awarded some time previously. Rev. Victor Keiser is a chaplin in the navy and Mrs. Kesier is completing her Master's degree at NY University while her husband and son David are in the service and Victor Jr. is a naval cadet. 8-year-old son, Lincoln is at Manumet School, Bristol, Pennsylvania.
