Ruth Lorraine Keim, 84, Crawfordsville, died 2:20 p.m. Wednesday in Winona Hospital, Indianapolis. Mrs. Keim was a homemaker and had worked at R.R. Donnelley"s as a bindery worker. She had been a member of the Donnelley"s girls" basketball team. She was a 1936 New Market High School graduate. She was born Jan. 10, 1919, at Kentland, to Earl B. and Mary Elizabeth Penn Gardner. She married Bernard Keim on Jan. 1, 1937, at Crawfordsville. He is deceased. Survivors include two sons, Tony, Mondovi, Wis., and Tim, Chapel Hill, N.C.; three brothers, Earl "Red" Gardner, Dayton, Ohio, Neal Gardner, Marion, and Jack Gardner, Crawfordsville; two sisters, Jane Ekstrom, LaJolla, Calif., and Nancy Rogers, Crawfordsville; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A brother, Wayne P. Gardner, is deceased. Cremation services are planned and will be conducted by Powers-Priebe Funeral Home, Crawfordsville. No calling is scheduled.
