Jerry KEENEY, former publisher of the Crawfordsville Sunday Star died in Gilman, Illinois on Thursday last at the age of 84. Funeral services were held at the home on Sunday. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. He has been away from Crawfordsville for 30 years. He is survived by his wife. - kbz

Crawfordsville – Jere M. Keeney, age 84, pioneer Crawfordsville newspaper man will be buried here Sunday. The former publisher of the Crawfordsville Sunday Star died in his home at Gilman, Ill. He was in the real estate and live stock insurance business at Danville, Ill The widow, a brother, Stanfield Keeney of Indianapolis and a sister survive. - kbz
