Veedersburg - Funeral services were conducted today at Zephyr Hills, Fla., for John Daniel Keeling, 42, a 1949 graduate of Veedersburg High School. He died Thursday in his home at Zephyr Hills after a brief illness. He had retired as a chief warrant officer after 23 years' service with the US Army. He was assigned to the US Army Safeguard System Command and was stationed for a time at Kwajalein Missile Range in the Marshall Islands. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; three sons, Timothy, stationed at the Naval Air Station at Patuxent River, Md.; Herschel of Mesa, Ariz., and Anthony of Zephyr Hills; his mother, Esther Keeling of Veedersburg; a sister and three brothers. Burial was at Floral Memory Garden Cemetery at Zephyr Hills with full military honors
