Mrs. Bessie Keeling, 69, a native of Crawfordsville, died suddenly at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday in Emporia, Kans., at the home of a son, Richard P. Keeling, where she had been visiting. Mrs. Keeling made her home with another son, Robert Keeling, in Lebanon. She was a member of the Crawfordsville First Christian Church. She was born in the city on Aug. 3, 1895. In 1913 she was married to Robert C. Keeling. Mrs. Keeling was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister. Survivors in addition to the two sons include a daughter, Mrs. Phillip Drouin of Long Beach. Calif., seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Graveside funeral rites are scheduled at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Crawfordsville Masonic Cemetery. Rev. Howard F. Miller, pastor of the Crawfordsville First Christian Church will officiate. – jlr
