Keefe - Byron

Byron A. Keefe, 58, of Rt. 2, died at 4:45 this morning at his home. He was employed as a construction electrician and was a member of Electricians Local 451. Mr. Keefe was also a member of Montgomery Lodge 50, F & AM. He was born Feb. 14, 1913, at Crawfordsville, the son of Warner T. and Ida Elkins Keefe and was a 1931 graduate of Crawfordsville High School. He married Alta Fogleman Feb. 29, 1936, at Veedersburg. Mr. Keefe is survived by the widow; one son, Warner of Rt. 2; a brother, Rev. W.T. Keefe of Duluth, Minn.; one sister, Mrs. Mary Grimes of Crawfordsville and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 pm Friday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home. Rev. Ronald Petersen will officiate. Cremation will follow. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 pm Thursday. Masonic rites will be conducted at the mortuary at 8 pm Thursday. - transcribed by kbz
