George R. Keedy, 54, of 225 Main St, Lafyaette, a former resident of Crawfordsville and Linden, died early today at Home Hospital at Lafayette. He had been ill two years and hospitalized the last nine months. He was a former member of the Crawfordsville Eagles Lodge. He had been employed in the maintenance dept. of National homes at Lafayette. Mr. Keedy was born at Crawfordsville on nov 2, 1921 a son of Ray and Edith Nagle Keedy. He was married to Betty Jean Day in 1945 and she preceded him in death in 1963. Surviving are two sons, Joseph of Linden and Ronald Ray of Indianapolis; a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Dealanie) Weaver of Waveland; two sisters, Frances Stonebraker of Linden and Heln Miller of Crawfordsville; two brothers, William of Crawfordsville and Glenn of Indianapolis and a grandchild. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Helms Funeral Home here with the Rev. hershell Bryant officiating. Burial in Linden Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 5-9 p.m. Tuesday.
