Keedy - Enis Ray

Ray E. Keedy, 64, of 910 E. Elmore St, died at 5:45 p.m. Saturday in Culver Hospital. He had been hospitalized 10 hours. Mr. Keedy made his home in Frankfort until moving to Crawfordsville in 1918. He was employed with the Lewis-Shepard Company for 20 years. He also worked as groundskeeper for the softball league. Born Feb 28, 1884 in Frankfort, he was the son of William and Frances Wolf Keedy. He was married December 24, 1903 in Frankfort to Edith Nagle. Surviving are the widow; four sons, Glenn C of Indianapolis; Joseph R, William M and George R. Keedy, all of Crawfordsville, two daughter, Mrs. O. Mentel Stonebraker of Darlington and Mrs. Russell Miller of Crawfordsville; 16 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Ernest and a sister, Pearl Keedy. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Bright Funeral Home with Rev John R. Servies officiating. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
