Mrs. Winnie V. JONES, highly respected resident of the county, died at her home 7 1/2 miles northeast of Crawfordsville at 8:30 o'clock Wed night. She had ben in ill health since last February. Deceased was born in Montgomery Co Nov 10, 1887, daughter of A.L. and Jemima Simpson. She was married to Lewis E. Jones on Aug 24, 1914. She was a member of the Young's Chapel Christian Church. Surviving are the husband and 3 daughters: Donnis M, Mary E and Maxine Jones; one sister, Mrs. RW Allen, one brother, Rex Simpson of Crawfordsville and several other relatives.Funeral services will be conducted from the residence Friday afternoon 2 o'clock with Rev. Samuel Smith of Ladoga in charge. Interment will be made in Oak Hill Cemetery.- kbz
