KINGMAN - Mrs. Esta Jones, 78, a former resident of the Centennial community, died Thursday morning (Nov. 23, 1972) in Mercy Hospital in Urbana, Ill. She had been ill several years. Born Oct. 12, 1894, in Indiana, she was the daughter of Charles and Elzada Bonebrake Isley. April 11, 1913, she married Earl Jones, who died two years ago on the same day, Nov. 23, 1970. Mrs. Jones was a member of the Centennial Community Church and Order of Eastern Star of Yeddo. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Uma Hepler of Urbana; a son, Charles Jones of Crawfordsville; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister. Services will be at 10 a.m. EST Saturday at Woodrow Funeral Home in Kingman, with the Rev. Bennett Fulp officiating. Burial will be in Bonebrake Cemetery near Veedersburg. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. - jlr
