JONES, Henry S. - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

Waynetown – Henry S. Jones, 74 of Waynetown R 2, died at 10 p.m. Friday in St. Elizabeth Hospital Lafayette. He had been a patient there seven weeks. Born at Smith Grove, NC he came to Indiana at the age of 12 and spent the rest of his life in the New Richmond and Elmdale communities. He was married in 1903 to Della Kirkpatrick who died May 2, 1951.  A carpenter, he was a member of Elmdale Methodist Church.  Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Paul Mahoney, Lafayette; three sons, Clyde C. Jones of Lafayette; Paul V. Jones of near Wingate and Capt. William H. Jones of the Air Force stationed at San Antonio, Tex and four brothers, Otto F. Jones of New Richmond, Edward S. Jones of Ft. Wayne; Robert Jones of Frankfort and Phillip Jones of Waynetown Rt 2.
