MYRTLE JONES, EASTERN STAR LEADER IS DEAD
Funeral services for Mrs. Myrtle M. Jones, past worthy matron of Peerless chapter, order of the Eastern Star, No. 620, will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at the chapel at 2917 South Michigan avenue. Burial will be at Mount Hope cemetery. Mrs. Jones died of pneumonia early yesterday at her home at 7536 Colfax avenue. She was 42 years old and was born in Crawfordsville, Ind. Surviving are her husband, Elmer R. Jones, a member of the staff of The Tribune Press services; her mother, Laura Croy of Indianapolis, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs Ernest Sampson and Mrs. O.L. Shaw of Indianapolis; Albert Croy of Clarksburg, W. Va.: William Harley, Nanny and Ivy Croy, and Mrs William Fordyce of Crawfordsville. – kim h
