Word has been received at Lafayette of the death of Mrs. Gladys G. JONES JOHNSON formerly of the Lafayette area, in Methodist Hospital, Des Moines, Iowa Thursday. She had been a patient there two weeks and had been ill for some time. Mrs. Johnson was the widow of Rev. JB Johnson who held pastorates of Flora, Wingate, Darlington, Waveland and Covington Methodist Churches. Married in 1907, the couple moved to Iowa Methodist Conference from Indiana in 1929, Rev. Johnson died in1943. Born at Greencastle, Mrs. Johnson attended Butler University. - transcribed by kbz
