Charles Waldon Johnson, 69, Rt. 2, Jamestown, died Sunday in Culver Hospital. Mr. Johnson was a retired employe of the Crawfordsville Police Department after working 29 years. He was a member of Milligan Memorial Presbyterian Church and Fraternal Order of Police. Born Oct. 12, 1906, in Montgomery County, he was the son of Labon and Hannah Groendyke Johnson. He was married to Naomi Montgomery on Sept. 27, 1924. She survives. Also surviving are a son, William of Jamestown; two sisters, Edith McClure of Saginaw, Mich., and Tessie Harter of Crawfordsville; and five grandchildren. Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by a son, Robert Waldon. Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Sabens officiating. Burial will be in Shannondale Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday.--waw
