LAFAYETTE — Bruce Johnson, 68, of 1219 Potomic St., Lafayette, died at 9:26 p.m. Monday in his home. He had been in ill health for several years. Mr. Johnson was a painting contractor and musician. He was born in Monroe County, reared at Romney and had lived at Crawfordsville prior to moving to Lafayette in 1955. He was a member of the Romney Presbyterian Church, Lafayette Federation of Musicians, Romney Masonic Lodge 441, Murat Temple and Scottish Rite of Indianapolis and Lafayette Shrine Club. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Rex Murray of Idaville and Mrs. Roger Lincoln of Winamac, and two brothers, Paul of Indianapolis and Bryce of Waveland. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Sollar-Baker Funeral Home with the Rev. Joseph G. Wick officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery at Romney. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Masonic rites will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.--waw
