Joel - Amelia

Jacob Joel this morning received a telegram from Buffalo stating that his mother, Mrs. Amelia Joel, died last night at 12 o’clock. She had been indisposed for several days but was not considered dangerously ill. She was about 70 years of age. Jacob and family, and Jolly left on the 1 o’clock train for that city.

Word comes from Buffalo that Jake Joel’s mother was buried last Friday. On that very evening Mrs. Joel’s father, Mr. Leslie, died. This accounts for Mr. and Mrs. Joel’s continued absence.
