Miss Ruth Johns, 42, died in her home here Friday evening. She had
been in failing health the past year. Born Dec. 18, 1920 in Hendricks
County, she was the daughter of Herbert and Grace Carver Johns. Miss
Johns was a member of the Jamestown Pentecostal Church. Surviving are
two brothers, Bill, with whom she made her home, and Newton of Lizton;
an aunt, Miss May Johns of Jamestown and six nieces and nephews. Funeral
services are announced for 2 p.m. Monday at the Walker Funeral Home
here. burial will be in the Jamestown IOOF Cemetery. Friends may call at
the funeral home after 6 p.m. Saturday.
