New Ross - June 26 -- This morning soon after midnight William JOH died at the home of James W. Linn with whom he had made his home for about 27 years. Mr. Joh was born in Augusta Co VA Aug 8, 1830. When a young man he came to Ohio and settled near Camden. He came to Indiana about 1850 and has continually lived in Walnut Twp. He voted for John C. Fremont in 1856. Mr. Joh was the son of George and Anna Joh and has lived to be the last of his family. He was the oldest resident of Walnut Twp. The funeral will be held at the home 2 miles west of New Ross Tuesday afternoon at 2. Burial will be at Union Hill Cemetery. - kbz
