NEW RICHMOND – Lionel W. "Ted” Jennings, 67, died at 8 a.m. Tuesday at his home here after a long illness. Mr. Jennings was a retired farmer. He also had been employed by the County Highway Department at one time. Mr. Jennings was a member of the Christian Church at Wingate. He was educated in Thorntown area schools. A native of Boone County, he was born March 10, 1901, to Alonzo and Minerva Towner Jennings. He was married to Thelma Keys at Crawfordsville. Surviving are the widow; two daughters, Mrs. Corinne Huckstep of Jamestown and Mrs. Mary Jo Dazey of Wingate, and five grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hunt and Son Funeral Home at Crawfordsville with Rev. Omer Hunsinger officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery at Wingate. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Wednesday.--waw
