Lucille C. JAY, 91, died Monday in Asbury Towers, Greencastle. A former member of First Methodist Church & Business & Professional Women here she was a member of 1st Presbyterian Church, Greencaslte. She was also a member of Zonta & Coterie Clubs and graduate of Crawfordsville HS. Mrs. Jay was born July 9, 1891 near Darlington, a daughter of Charles W. and Anna Lynch Campbell. She married Carmen W. Jay on Aug 31, 1915 at Crawfordsville. He preceded her in death May 31, 1962. Survivors include a son, Donald; a daughter, Mrs. Isabelle Perry; a sister, Mrs. Lenore Brandkamp; two grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son David and granddaughter, Joan Wakefield. Services will be 10 a.m. Thusrday in Burkhart Funeral Home iwth Rev. Donald F. McMahon officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Wed. The family asks memorial be made in contributions to Heart or Cancer Funds. - transcribed by kbz
