Mrs. Will Jarvis, who had been critically ill for several days, was taken to Union hospital in Terre Haute on Thursday last. She died early on Friday morning. Funeral services were held at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. M. Runge, at 2:30 on Saturday afternoon in charge of the pastor of the Christian Church. She was the daughter of Newton Shepherd and was born April 8, 1869. Her first husband was Abner Herod who died in 1917 and by whom she had three children; Mrs. Runge, Charles and Wilfred Herod. She married William Jarvis in April 1927. Those from here attending the funeral were Mrs. A. L. Courtney, Arthur and Willard Jarvis and Norman Miles - kbz

Mrs. Will JARVIS, who was taken to the Union Hospital at Terre Haute Thursday died Thursday night. She had been critically ill with pneumonia and heart trouble for about two weeks. She is survived by her husband and 3 children: Charley and Mrs. Lillian Runge of Terre Haute and Wilfred of Florida.- kbz
