Miss Addie M. Jarvis, age 21 years, died Thursday at the home of her mother, Mrs. WH Jarvis, four miles south east of the city. Her death was due to consumption. The family removed here from Virginia but a few months ago. The funeral and burial took place this afternoon at Union Church, near Mace, Rev. Riley officiating. - kbz
