LADOGA -- Emanuel R. Jamison, retired farmer of Rt. 1, Ladoga, died at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. Mr. Jamison, 92, was admitted to the hospital just a few minutes before his death. The deceased, who came to the Ladoga community in the spring of 1935, was affiliated with the Plattsburg United Methodist Church. His wife, the former Mabel Blackwood, survives. The couple were united in marriage on June 3, 1916, at Salem, Ind. Mr. Jamison was first married to Idella Jackson who preceded him in death. A native of Washington Count he was born on March 12, 1877, to Charles and Louisa Chambers Jamison. Other survivors include a son, Charles, of Bedford; a daughter, Mrs. Joseph Love of Indianapolis; two foster sons, Everett Hattabaugh of South Haven, Mich., and Leslie McCourtney of Anthony, Kan.; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild. Friends may call 2-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Gephart Funeral Home in Ladoga. The body will then be taken to the Dawalt Funeral Home at Salem where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday. Rev. Lynn Denison will officiate. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery at Salem.--waw
