Miss Sarah A. Jackson, better known as Allie, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Nancy Miller, Tuesday night, Feb. 19th at 10 o’clock p.m. She was born August 13, 1843, aged 57 years, 6 months, and 6 days. She joined the Baptist Church in her 17th year and lived a faithful Christian until death. She told a friend who was waiting on her how she hated to leave her sister for she would miss her, but for herself she was prepared and ready to go. -s
