Donald JACKSON

Donald JACKSON, 41, who had been bedfast for four weeks, died Sat at 2:35 p.m. Mr. Jackson had been ill for approx. 3 weeks. Born Dec 8, 1915 in Lawrence, KS he was the son of Woodford and Edna COOPER Jackson. He married Margaret Louise CORRAY Dec 25, 1938 at the North Salem Methodist Church. Mr. Jackson was a member of the North Salem Methodist Church, a WWII Vet, a graduate of New Winchester HS, an employee of Indiana Bell Telephone Co. for 21 years and a member of the Pioneers Club of Indiana Bell. Surviving are the widow, Margaret; two daughters, Julia Ann and Deborah Kay; four sons, James, Jerry, Douglas and Bruce, all at home; one brother, Eugene Jackson of Indianapolis; his mother, Edna DAVIS and his grandfather, Jay COOPER both of North Salem. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tues at the North Salem Methodist Church. Burial in the North Salem Cemetery. The body will remain at the Porter Funeral Home until one hour before the service. - kbz
