Jackman, Denicy

Mrs. Denicy Jackman died at her home in Darlington on Friday morning, of typhoid fever, aged 79 years. She was one of the pioneers of the county, having settled here with her husband in 1828. She was the mother of nine children, five of whom are living. Since childhood she has been a member of the Christian Church and during all her long life was a devoted follower of her Master. Funeral services will be held at Darlington tomorrow at 10 o’clock, conducted by Elder J. A. Johnson. Burial at the Tapp graveyard.
