New York, April 22 -- The Rev. William Francis IRWIN pastor of the Irvington Presbyterian Church, Irvington-on-the-Hudson, died in a hospital here today after a brief illness. He was in his 61st year. Mr. Irwin who was visiting his brother, Payton Irwin in New York when he was stricken ill came to Irvington in 1916 from Ky. He was born at Waveland, Indiana and was educated at Washington University, St. Louis, Hanover College, Chicago Theological Seminary and Heidelburg University, Germany. During the World Ware he served in France with the YMCA. Funeral services will be held Sunday from his Church. Burial in Ossining. Among other survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Edward McCluskey of Lebanon, Ill and Mrs. Willard Ward of Minneapolis. Mrs. Irwin died several years ago. -kbz

Rev. William Francis Irwin, aged 60, pastor of the Irvington-on-the-Hudson Presbyterian Church died in a New York hospital April 22. Mr. Irwin was the son of Robert Irwin, a former pastor of the Waveland Presbyterian Church and was born here. The Irwins occupied the old manse on Howard Street now the residence of Charles S. Kritz. He was the brother of the late Mrs. Fannie Milligan. - kbz
