After suffering from the effects of a stroke of paralysis, which came upon him six weeks ago, John W. Irwin, an employee of the National Handle Factory, died at his home at 651 W. Morrison Street at 12:10 this morning. He was born in Montgomery County on August 17, 1843, and came to Frankfort 35 years ago. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Misner Irwin, and was married to Miss Emily Hubbard of Darlington on March 21, 1868. One sister, besides his wife, survive him. Mrs. Henry Lutz of Crawfordsville. No arrangements for the funeral have been made.
