Mrs. Clara Inskeep, 70, of 2313 S 9th St, Lafayette, a native of New Richmond, died at 6:30 p.m. Monday in Cleveland (Ohio) Clinic Hospital. She had been a patient four weeks and ill since January. Mrs Inskeep taught in the Montgomery and Tippecanoe counties school systems and also in Attica. She was a member of New Richmond United Methodist Church and Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority. She attended Indianapolis Teachers College and Indiana University. She lived most of her life in New Richmiond, moving to Lafayette in 1971. Born Oct 24, 1906, she was a daughter of Ira and Martha Dettbanner Wilson. She married John Inskeep in 1937 at New Richmond. He survives. Also surviving are a son William A. of Coral Gable, Fl, and three grandsons. Services are scheduled at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Hippensteel Funeral Home at Lafayette with the Rev Lew Snyder officiating. Burial will be in New Richmond Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. today. - kbz
